The Venue

Nestled in the heart of the city, The Avenue Room blends restored turn-of-the-century charm with a modern, sophisticated touch. The space boasts terra cotta bricks, stately pillars, and rich hardwood floors, providing a neutral yet stunning canvas for any wedding style. Skylights and bay windows flood the room with natural light, making it a dream for photographers looking to capture those magical moments.

A grand ceremony deserves a breathtaking setup, and this design delivered just that. The focal point was two free-standing arches adorned with lush greenery, doubling as both an aisle statement and a stunning backdrop behind the head table. A dramatically tall, flowing fabric backdrop added to the elegance, creating a picture-perfect space to say “I do.”

The Wedding Dress

Designed by Stella York, this gown is a masterpiece of regal pearl organza with an unexpected yet sophisticated Magnolia color tone. The whimsical sleeves and ruched bodice provide a fashion-forward twist on a timeless silhouette. Light and effortlessly elegant, this dress is perfect for both intimate indoor settings and dreamy beachside vows. The cathedral veil, adorned with soft pastel accents, enhances the dress’s delicate color, while pearl hair accessories complete the final bridal look.

The Jewelry

Delicate pearl earrings, a vintage-inspired bracelet, and a minimalist necklace subtly enhanced the bride’s overall look without overpowering the intricate details of the gown. Each piece was carefully selected to complement the romantic yet modern aesthetic of the day.

The Dress - A Closer Look

Taking a deeper dive into the gown, its lightweight fabric and effortless draping made movement feel like a dream. The off-the-shoulder sleeves added a touch of whimsical elegance, while the bodice’s structure ensured a flattering, sculpted fit. Paired with a soft tulle veil and timeless pearl hairpins, this look was the epitome of bridal sophistication.

The Florals

Florals for this editorial shoot were all about texture, color, and varying heights. The neutral venue palette allowed the arrangements to truly pop, bringing flair and warmth to the overall design. Floor floral installations graced the base of the head table, paired beautifully with candlelight for added depth and romance. The floral statement continued with a mix of pastel blooms in bud vases and large centerpieces, unifying the tablescape with the ceremony setup.

Bringing an upscale and modern touch to wedding entertainment, this photobooth was all about refinement and quality.

White-Oak Mirror Photobooth – A sleek, sophisticated addition with natural wood tones that complement various wedding aesthetics. Equipped with professional studio lighting and a high-grade DSLR camera, it ensures every captured moment is picture-perfect.

Clay Backdrop – A warm, earthy-toned backdrop with a textured design, adding depth and richness to every shot.

On-the-Spot Printing – Using a professional dye-sub printer, guests could take home 2x6” or 4x6” prints as the ultimate wedding keepsake. Each template was custom-designed to reflect the couple’s theme.

Black Audio Phone Guestbook – An interactive experience allowing guests to leave heartfelt voice messages for the newlyweds, creating memories that last far beyond the wedding day. Its sleek, modern design blended perfectly with the aesthetic of the space.

Every detail, from the towering floral arches to the soft candlelight on the tables, worked together to create a setting that was elegant, inviting, and undeniably breathtaking.

The Final Touches: Hair & Makeup

The Hair

For this look, we aimed for something timeless yet effortless. Using Amika’s Firm Hold Hairspray, we ensured long-lasting hold while their texture spray added grip and volume. To achieve the desired fullness, clip-in extensions were seamlessly blended, creating a soft and romantic half-up, half-down style. This classic look provided the perfect balance of structure and movement, elegantly complementing the delicate hairpiece.

The Makeup

The beauty look focused on a luminous bridal glow, balancing dramatic eyes with soft, neutral tones. Skin was prepped for a flawless finish, with a radiant highlight bringing out the bride’s natural features. Eyes were the focal point—defined with soft smoky tones and fluttery lashes, creating a captivating gaze that would photograph beautifully. The lips were kept neutral, ensuring a timeless and sophisticated finish.

The Tablescape Décor

A wedding tablescape is where love and design come together, and this one was a vision of pastel beauty. The palette featured soft hues, blending airy pastels with neutral tones to maintain an elegant, understated look.

Glassware – Pink textured goblets for a romantic touch.

Plates – Simple white plates with textured gold chargers.

Cutlery – Gold flatware with round handles, adding a modern feel.

Vases – A combination of floral centerpieces and bud vases carrying the same soft pastel florals.

Menu Cards – Minimalist floral design that seamlessly fit into the theme.

Candles – Gold candle holders with hurricane vases for a warm, inviting glow.

The table also featured a specialty chair—one that had yet to be showcased in the venue—adding a unique crossback design element.

The Cake

A two-tiered masterpiece adorned with florals matching the table’s arrangements. A delicate rose sat atop the cake, while wisps of floral stems circled the bottom tier for a whimsical touch.

A modern nod to casual grazing, ensuring guests are satisfied while waiting for dinner—because no one wants a hangry wedding guest!
